12 Simple Things to Keep the Peace
Nothing dramatic. Just small things that keep Viva Andur magical for everyone.
⏰ Check-in at 1:00 PM · Check-out at 11:00 AM
Come early and the lake will still be there. Leave on time and the next guests get their turn. Everybody wins.
🔇 No noise. No DJ. No loud music.
Seriously — no speakers, no DJ, no music system. The lake has its own playlist. Birdsong, wind through the trees, water lapping the bank. Trust us, it's better.
🌱 Chairs, tables & food — please keep off the lawn.
The lawn is a play area for children. Let the little ones run wild. The dining area, porch and common spaces are all yours for eating, sitting and chatting.
🏊 No swimming in the lake
The water is beautiful to look at, not to dive into. Enjoy the view from the bank, the porch and your room. Watch the fish jump — don't join them.
🌙 Please stay indoors after 11:00 PM
Late nights are for conversations on the porch — not for wandering the property in the dark. We'd love to keep you safe and well-rested. Lights out, stars on.
📞 Our caretaker is a phone call away
Mr. Tukaram and his wife are on call, and present during breakfast, lunch and dinner hours. Need anything? Just call. They're the heart of the farmhouse.
🔐 Keep an eye on your belongings & little ones
Viva Andur is peaceful and safe, but please take care of your valuables, gadgets and — most importantly — the kids. We want everyone leaving with exactly what they came with.
🌸 Please don't pluck flowers or leaves
The flowers are prettier on the plants. Let them bloom for the next guests, the bees and the butterflies. Admire them — don't take them home.
🚭 No smoking in public areas
Please step away from the common spaces if you smoke. Fresh lake air is one of the main attractions here — let's keep it that way.
🚗 Park at your own risk
There's space to park, but the farmhouse isn't responsible for your vehicle. Drive safe, park smart.

We reserve the right to admit or refuse entry. It's never personal — it's just how we keep Viva Andur the calm, safe place it is.

Andur village is home to people who've lived here for generations. Treat them, the land and the lake with kindness. That's the real house rule.
